 A favorite pastime of residents
and vacationers alike is fishing. Solberg Lake
is almost 1000 acres of diverse structure which
provides the perfect fish habitat. Both large
fish (Muskie, Walleye, Northern Pike) and small
fish (Bass, Panfish, Perch) are in great abundance.
Our lakes are perfect for any angler, novice
or expert. It is quite possible that the most
difficult choice to be made is just which part
of the lake to start on...Happy Fishing!
Spring brings new life to
the Northwoods. Trees bud and animals are having
their young. Many new wonders are beginning
to appear. Summer brings green trees, blue water,
and a lot of sun. Summer days are filled with
excitement and adventure in the Northwoods.
If you’re an outdoor person and enjoy watersports,
you will feel like you’re in heaven. Jet-ski,
water-ski, swim, or take an evening cruise and
listen to the call of Loons and watch a beautiful
sunset.

Nature will consume you!
Scenic walks, bike rides, camping, and shopping
are among some of the other activities to be
enjoyed by anyone visiting the area.

Fall begins another cycle that is started
by changes in the landscape. Trees turn bright
shades of yellow, orange and red. A scenic
drive, wilderness hike, or bike ride are such
a relaxing way to spend a Fall day and see
some of the most beautiful color in North
America. For a great many, this is their favorite
time of the year. Fall is the kick-off of
the deer hunting, grouse hunting, and bear
hunting seasons. For a quality hunting experience,
you just can’t beat the Chequamegon National
Forest.
As temperatures fall and the lakes begin
to freeze over, a blanket of white covers
the area. Snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing
and ice fishing are all among the fun things
to do during these cold winter days.
Wilderness abounds, you can always find “your
spot” to escape no matter what the season.
